Repaired spindle doesn't fit in the movable jaw assembly

E-mail Print PDF

Have you received a repaired spindle and it doesn't fit in the movable jaw assembly?.

When we receive a new spindle, it comes with a preset tension spring (006). This spring, like all springs, tends to have a longer total length w. The result is that the overall length is slightly longer.

When mounting the new or repaired spindle in the movable jaw assembly, it is reasonable that a certain effort might be required.

We should, therefore, take special care when fixing the spindle mounting plates (032) and tighten each screw securely so as to reduce the length and the resistance of the spring.
