Pyramids in 5 axis machining centres

Pirámide de mordazas Fresmak, S. A., has exhibited a 3-sided pyramid – as shown in the photograph – with three ARNOLD SC vices at the EMO show in Hannover.

It is surprising that such an ancient geometrical figure should be so useful with ultra modern 5-axis machining centres.

FRESMAK at EMO 2011

Apart from exhibiting the ARNOLD range of vices, Fresmak will be showing real clamping examples of difficult work-pieces with the use of vices.

We would like to show that the vice is a much more versatile clamping system than is generally thought. Jaws specially designed to part configuration are a quick and economic solution.

Fresmak S.A. and Tknika have signed an Agreement for the development of an Educational Project

Logotipo de Tknika Tknika and Fresmak, S. A., have signed an agreement for the development of an Educational Project. Tknika is a Centre for Innovation in Basque Vocational Training promoted by the Basque Department of Education, Universities and Research.

This agreement is based on the creation of a didactic module that describes the different clamping systems that are used in milling machines and machining centres. The project will be made in collaboration between both entities with the supervision of two departmental professors.

The duration of this project is expected to take two years and will provide Technical Education Centres a valuable tool for studying clamping systems.

FRESMAK visits Korta and Makino in India

September 2010

During the month of july 2010, Ramon Cenarruzabeitia, Managing Director of Fresmak S. A., together with a delegation of basque companies of the AMT (Association of Spanish Manufacturers of Accesories, Component parts and Tools form Machie-Tools) and organized by its director, Conchi Aranguren, visited the factory that Korta, S. A., has established in Bangalore. A meeting was held with the managing director, Andoitz Korta, who explained the reasons for creating a production plant in India.
